Diamond: Twelve years old. She is tall and thin, with curly blond hair that goes to her hips. Her eyes are a shimmering purple. She wears real diamonds in her hair. She's kind, and everyone likes her. She's the leader of the Gemstone Club.
Gem: Eleven years old. She is not tall or short, and is pretty thin. She has straight brown hair that falls to her elbows. Her eyes change colors. Sometimes they are green, other times they are blue, or purple. She wears earrings with different Gemstones on them. She wears bright, colorful clothing and collects all kinds of gems. She's wiry and happy about everything. She is in the the Gemstone Club.
Jewel: Ten years old, but very, very smart. She's much, much taller than Diamond, who is pretty tall herself. She has black hair that barely passes her chin. Her eyes are a shocking green. She decorates all of her clothes with jewels of all sorts, as well as her bracelets, earrings, and fingernails. She is smarter than anyone within four years of her age. She is in the Gemstone Club.
Ruby: Ruby is thirteen. She's shorter than Gem, and is very shy. She has curly red hair, that she wears in a loose ponytail, and soft brown eyes. She wears plain clothes, and spends much of her time alone. She is quiet, and doesn't like to speak up for herself. She is in the Gemstone Club.
Igneous: Twelve years old. He goes by Ig. His hair is strange. It fades from one color to another, sometimes seeming blond, and other times seeming black. His eyes are just as strange. They seem cold as stone, an gray when you first look, but at a second glance they seem soft, caring, and ocean blue or brown. Every look at his eyes is different. He is mysterious. He doesn't spend much time with other people, and is often found listening to other people's conversations. He is the only boy in the Gemstone Club.
Snow: Twelve years old. Her skin is as white as snow, as is her hair. Her eyes are such a soft gray, that they almost seem white. She wears white clothes. People think she is a beauty, and no one wonders why her name is Snow. She is sharp, and cold in her temper, just like her name. She looks gentle, but she's rude, and mean. She leads the Cold Club.
Leaf: Leaf is twelve. He has green eyes, and brown hair. He sticks to the trees. He is nice, and loves warm weather. He belongs to the Tree Club.
Branch: Is thirteen. He has brown eyes, and brown hair. His skin is pale. He is as nice as Snow is mean. He, like Leaf, loves the trees. He lives in them. He would never let any harm come to a tree. He is the leader of the Tree Club.
Breeze: Soft blonde hair and hard gray eyes, twelve year old Breeze is Snow's twin brother. He, like her, looks kind, but is quite the opposite. People try to hide from him. He loses his temper quickly, and isn't patient in any way. He is in the Cold Club.
Winter: Although eleven year old Winter is not the same age as Breeze and Snow, she acts just as harsh. Her hair goes to her shoulders, and is white. Her eyes are a warm, kind brown, unlike her. She screams when she's angry, an fights to get her way. She's a bully, and she knows it. She belongs to the Cold Club.
Spring: Ten years old. She's small and skinny, with short brown hair. She wears flowers in her hair and loves the blooming flowers on spring trees. She's kind like Leaf and Branch, and loves everything warm. She is in the Tree Club.
Summer: Twelve years old. Everyone expects her to be nice, and sweet, like her brother, Branch, and her sister, Spring. But she's not. She surprises everyone with her cold, evil attitude. Her hair is a warm brown, and her eyes are a sweet green. She wants the world her way, and won't stop at anything to have it that way. She is in the Cold Club.
Fall: Twelve years old with red hair. His eyes are a lively orange. He loves the Autumn. He loves when the leaves on the trees are orange, and red. He is happy about everything, and loves making others happy. He is in the Tree Club.
In Taralya, everyone belongs to a club. Some clubs are good, some clubs are bad. Of the ten through thirteen year olds, Gemstone, Cold, and Tree Clubs are the most well known. The Gemstone Club is full of sweet, but strange kids. The Cold Club is full of mean kids who go out of their way to hurt people's feelings. The Tree Club has kind, happy kids who love the trees.
But they're rivals, and when put into a class together, danger is let loose.
