Which Character?

I'm drawing my characters in The Fear-Full Adventure to put in the front of my book.
Can you guess which character this is by the description?

I have smooth red hair that goes to about mid-back.  My eyes are brown, and I have an impish face. My face scrunches up and my hair rises like a cat's when I'm angry.  I have a younger sister with blond curls.  I wear a red shirt that reads "little girl, BIG personality" almost every day.  I am cryophobic.  Who am I?

My hair is white and looks like a cloud.  I have ocean-blue eyes, and claustrophobia.  I lead the PhoHelp room, a room designed to help phobics with their fears.  I am trying to stop phobias.  Who am I?

My hair is blond and curly, and goes to my shoulders.  Like my friend, my eyes are ocean-blue.  I am small for my age.  I have more than one fear.  I get swallowed up by vines and sucked into a different world while trying to help my friend, the owner of the PhoHelp room.  Who am I?

My  hair is long and red.  I am afraid of silence.  When I meet someone, I ask them many questions and tell them a lot about me.  Who am I?

I have tan skin, and long, dark hair.  My eyes are a dazzling purple.  I am afraid of sea monsters.  I get possessed by King Fierce and try to get rid of my best friend.  Who am I?

No one knows exactly what I look like.  I wear a hooded cape that covers my whole body.  All anyone can see of me is my smile and my black beard.  I want to control the world.  I can give people whatever fears I like.  Who am I?

Word bank:
Nistin Verdole
Kitsa
King Fierce
Merrisha Holands
Vennsa
Jasmine

News, News, News

I haven't posted story ideas in a while, have I?
I haven't been working on many new stories.
However, I am working on The Fear-Full Adventure.  If you don't remember what The Fear-Full Adventure is about, here is a summary:
Merrisha Holands is nyctophobic, claustrophobic, and arachnophobic.  She thinks she is the only one with a phobia.  But, after an incident while babysitting, Merrisha realizes how many phobics there are in the world.
A boy her age, named Nistin, helps Merrisha realize that phobias are overrunning the world, and Merrisha must go on a journey, and travel to a land of irrational fear and hatred (Fobbia), to save the world from an evil king of fear: King Fierce.
Do you want to read this book?  If you do, than comment below, and you will be one of the first to hear the price of the book once it is ready to be published.

My Goal.

I have been working on The Fear-Full Adventure for a whole year.  I want to finish it soon.  So I have a goal to finish it by the end of the month.

What's been going on.

Lately, I have been doing a lot of writing The Undead Revenge, and editing The Fear-Full Adventure.  I haven't had much to post about.
I'll try to post more.

I'm going to do a quiz.  If you want to participate, comment below with the answers to the questions.

1. What genre do you like reading the most?
2. Which of my story posts sounds most interesting?
3. Who is your favorite author?
4. What is your favorite book? (answer this one if you can!)
5. Do you like writing? (I won't be offended if you say 'no')
6. Have you read Mysterious Events?

OK, my answers:
1. Fantasy
2. I don't know, but I'm excited about my post on The Fear-Full Adventure.
3. Well, I like Frank Beddor, J.K. Rowling, Rick Riordan, Megan Bean, and Aastha Bansal
4. I'm currently reading The Looking Glass Wars, book two, Seeing Redd, and I love it, but I also love the Tartan of Thyme series, along with many other books.
5.YES! YES, YES, YES!
6. Of course, I wrote it!

If you could post comments with questions about me or my stories, I will answer those.
Thanks!

News

Guess what?  I finished The Fear-Full Adventure.  Not entirely, but the rough draft.  One day I decided that if I didn't finish it quick, I wouldn't finish it at all.  I'm glad that I don't have to be coming up with ideas now, and that now I can be working on making it sound good.
I'm sorry I haven't been posting lately.  I'll try to post more often.  I've been doing a lot of editing, so I haven't been sure what to post.
Oh, since I'm working on a story about phobias, can anyone guess (try to do so without looking it up) what cryophobia is the fear of?

(Untitled)

I am writing a story about a place called Azcrest.  Azcrest is split up into twelve different 'communities'.  In one of them, Pearlen, the citizens believe in destinies.  At the last day of every year, the babies born over the year are given a destiny.  They live their lives by the rules of their destinies.
One year, a baby is born during the destiny-ceremony, and doesn't receive a destiny.  This is a tiny baby girl named Georgie Ann.  She is told that, when the time is right, she will find her destiny.
Eleven years later, hundreds of arrows are shot from the neighboring community, Tayron.  Tayron is an evil place of evil, violent people.  It is much bigger than the other communities because it attacked communities and claimed them for its own.  Tayron now wants Pearlen.
While Pearlen has destinies, Tayron has a Stone of Power.  The people of Tayron always follow the rules of the stone.  So, when Pearlen sees that it is under attack, they decide they need to take the Stone of Power.  If the Stone of Power is taken, than Tayron will beg to have it back, and Pearlen will be able to make Tayron promise not to attack.
Because of the destinies, no one is able to go.  So they send of Georgie Ann, who must take the Stone of Power in time to save the land she loves.

Poem

Starting a story,
Not easy as cake.
Holding it out,
Can feel like a mistake.
Making it through
Just one chapter is hard,
But don't stop your writing,
Because you'll want that great
Reward.
Starting you always feel free as a bird
Everything's right, you like every word.
But then as you keep going, and writing
gets worse,
You feel like you're drowning in feelings
of remorse.
But you keep on writing,
Because you know if you do,
All those great things,
They'll happen to you.
People will pick up your book
And they'll read,
Loving every word that they read.

Mysterious Events info, etc.

So, I am still selling Mysterious Events, so if you want to buy it, just email me at charlytypes@gmail.com .
I am hoping to put it in the library soon, if it is possible.
I have currently been working on The Fear-Full Adventure (I know, I'm still working on it), and I have been trying not to start any more stories.  However, I do have an idea for a story about these kids with powers, and will give out more information later.

The Forest Kidnap

Linley, Mirilyn, Evela, and Issi are running up and down the streets, racing and having fun.  Linley and Mirilyn are sisters, as are Evela and Issi.  Well, as they are goofing around, they realize a short old lady is following them very slowly, where ever they go.  They tell her to stop, but she just ignores them.
Finally, when Linley tells the old lady that she doesn't need to follow them everywhere, the old lady speaks.  She says, "But I need your help, right now." and strangely grows into a tall, young woman.  She says, "My car is leaking, will you help?"
So, the four go to help, but Linley worries something might be going on.  She tells Issi to run get an adult, as quickly as possible.  Issi leaves, and Linley stops worrying.
But then, as time goes on, Linley realizes the car is moving, and the lady pulls up into a foresty area.  She has no idea how to get back, and she, Mirilyn and Evela must figure out a way to escape before it's too late.

OK, I came up with story from a dream.  In which the names were Charly (I changed my name to a random name, Linley, and tried to change everyone elses as much as possible), Meredith (Mirilyn), Ava (Evela) and Isabelle (Issi).

Nepalese Royal Massacre

I am at a writer's block! :(
So, because of my awesome dad, I'm doing some research, and will soon write a historical fiction story!
I am researching a royal family massacre in Kathmundu, Nepal.  Why?
I was wondering if there had ever been an event where a royal family had been wiped out, so I researched it.  And I found a link about the Nepal royal family massacre, which happened on June 1st, 2001.
I will send updates on this event, and hopefully somehow let you read my report and historical-fiction novel.
Summary:
Crown Prince Dipendra was in love with a girl named Devyani Rana, but was not allowed to marry her.  If he did, he would be disinherited from the throne, and Dipendra was anxious to be king.  So on June 1st, 2001, when he was drunk, Dipendra murdered most of the royal family, and then turned the gun on himself.

Phobias GALORE

Don't ask me why, but for some reason I am obsessed with phobias.  I find them so interesting.   I love adding little phobias to my stories (especially The Fear-Full Adventure, which is about them).  Because there are so many crazy awesome fears.
Here are a few phobia examples:
Anatidaephobia: Fear that a duck is watching your every move (!).
Pteronophobia: Fear of being tickled by feathers.
Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia: Fear of long words.
Pantophobia: Fear of everything.
Barophobia: Fear of gravity.
Chirophobia: Fear of hands.
Ephebiphobia: Fear of teenagers.
Agnosiophobia: Fear of not knowing.
Acrophobia: Fear of heights.
Claustrophobia: Fear of small spaces.
Arachnophobia: Fear of spiders.
Atelophobia: Fear of imperfection.
Graphophobia: Fear of writing (CRAZY!).
Now, remember, these are only a few.  There are THOUSANDS more.

Some of my Phobic information.
I am Agnosiophobic.  But for me it's more like not knowing when.  I hyperventilate when I know something is going to happen, but I don't know when to expect it.  It's scary!

Any phobias you readers want to share?  Comment below!

'The Fear-Full Adventure' update

OK, I've been working really hard on The Fear-Full Adventure lately.  My goal is to finish it by the end of the summer, which will be a lot of work.
So, Merrisha Holands will be on my mind.  I might at a little frizazzle to The Bombing of Minnesota, or write a few pages of The Undead Revenge, but most of my work will be set on putting obstacles in Merrisha's way, while simultaneously helping her stop all fear (You see, as the writer you are both the good guy and the bad guy, no matter how much you hate the villain).

The Undead Revenge

Anna Baker is back!  Although this story does not have the same villains, I would advise that if you want to read this book, read Mysterious Events first, because in this story it will talk about things in the first book.  Anyway, here you go:
Anna feels great.  Her grandpa is safe, she and her friends are doing well, and school has been amazing.  She has been getting straight-A's in her eighth grade class, and has become every teachers' favorite student.  Her life has unexpectedly taken a turn.
And even better, Grandpa has moved in, and is living with the rest of the family.  Anna has never felt better.
But when Masia (Morlynn's twin sister) shows up at school, Anna's family is once again in trouble.  This time, however, is different in a creepy way.
Masia is mad at Anna's Great Grandma Baker, Arianna, who died way before Anna's mom was born. Anna has no idea why.  Arianna was just Grandpa Baker's amazing wife, right?  She didn't do anything wrong.
But that's not what Masia thinks.  For one reason or another, Masia is going to get revenge on Arianna.  But she's dead.  Anna's not sure what Masia is going to pull off, but after meeting Morlynn, Anna is sure Masia has terrible things in mind.  Things that involve....zombies.
Anna has only a few short days to figure out what Arianna did, and figure out and stop Masia's plan.
This is harder than her recent task.  Can she pull it off?

Oh, and if you don't like the title, could you give me some other ideas?  I just came up with a random title.

Hello!

Hi.  I have been working on The Fear-Full Adventure and The Bombing of Minnesota.  I'm taking a short break from The Fanter, and plan on starting Here, There, and Everywhere soon (Wow, I'm busy!).
Here, There, and Everywhere probably won't be as long as The Fear-Full Adventure, but it probably won't be super short.  The Bombing of Minnesota will probably be sort of long.
Thanks for reading!

The Bombing of Minnesota

The Bombing of Minnesota is about two girls named Shazy Dune and Milla Crosswren.  They live on  Crosslake Street in Crosslake, Minnesota.
But then one night, a terrorist named Philip Stock bombs Crosslake Street, and Shazy and Milla are the only ones who survive the awful event.  They are taken care of in a mansion run by secret agents disguised as doctors for the handicap.  They teach Shazy and Milla how to get out of sticky situations,  pick locks, and get out of a house full of obstacles with their hands and legs tied together, and a blindfold on.  Because Philip isn't done with his terrorist act.  Every night, he bombs another street,  Leaving Minnesota in a wreck.
Shazy and Milla know they need to do something.  So, with the help of the secret agents, they set up a secret tunnel underground.  Every day, they lead more people down into the tunnel, and into a shelter.  And then Philip finds out.  The secret agents must protect the people in the shelter.  So it is up to Shazy and Milla to save all of Minnesota from the terrorist who destroyed their lives.

Lately...

OK, I haven't been thinking of new stories for a while, because I need to catch up on all my ideas.  But, I thought my followers might like to know what I've been doing. :)
Well, to start things off, I've been trying to finish my story, The Fear-Full Adventure (which at one point was called Horror of the Fear).  It will probably be longer than Mysterious Events, but I hope it is still just as good, if not better. :)
I have also been working on The Fanter, my story that takes place in Eever Kolm.  It might take a while for me to finish that story, because it has a lot to it, but I'll try and get it out and ready for reading as soon as possible.
I would also like to announce that eighteen copies of Mysterious Events have been ordered, and most of them have been sent out.  A big thank you to those who have ordered my book!  And those who haven't ordered a book, but want to.... feel free to order one!  They're still for sale!  Just remember: each book is $15.00, and you can get your book ordered by emailing me at charlytypes@gmail.com.

More updates

Hello!  Sorry I haven't posted for a while!  Lately I have been working hard on The Fanter and The Fear-Full Adventure.  I have also been throwing in ideas for this new story I'm going to write called Daffony Rose Tulip, but I won't put a summery of that on my blog yet, because it's mostly just ideas.

My book, Mysterious Events is still selling, so if you want to order it, you aren't too late.

Ordered!

20 books have just been ordered and will be coming soon!
But don't worry!  There's still room to order more!

Thursday, April 4, 2013

OK, if you look over my blog, you will find many posts about story ideas.  This is from one of my books.  Look over my blog!  See if you can figure out what book this is from:
OK, OK.  You're making this sound like some mystery.  She had never been fond of mysteries or adventures.  She thought of them as a waste of time and a bend of the rules of common sense.
—Charly Froerer, book: ?

The Deserted Land

OmforI is in horrible condition.  It is ruled by a horrible government called the Authority, which makes horrible laws, and punishes people who disobey in the slightest bit.  If you read one minute to long, or you don't get enough money in one day, or anything that is considered imperfect, you are sent to the Punishment house, which is almost death.  Guards, members of the Authority, patrol everything, and control everything.
Gemya lives in OmforI.  She is very good at getting her way, and helps out many people in her village.  She stands up for herself and those she cares for.  She hates the Authority.  And the Authority hates her.  They fear she will become a rebel.
So, Gemya is "invited" (she's forced to go) to tour OmforI.  Many people are touring as well, including the Leading Guard's son, Gemmo, a boy with a soft heart.  Gemmo will never be a member of the Authority, and the Authority is almost positive he will become a rebel.
According to Gemmo, the tour is how the Authority is deciding whether to send Gemmo and Gemya to their deaths or not.  And, over the tour, neither of them shows that they are loyal to the Authority, and they are both sent to a land where no life is anywhere nearby, and all they have to survive, is a single, worn jacket.  And there's no escaping.  The Authority's watching them closely.

Mysterious Events

Lately I have been working hard on my story, Mysterious Events (it was originally Mystery Letters, then Mystery Events, and now it's Mysterious Events).
I will try to post updates on my story once it is done being edited.

The Fanter

Fiea wakes up to her brother's screaming.  She walks into his room to comfort him, but all of the sudden the ground makes out from under her, and she's falling.  She wakes up in a forest, and is soon directed to a place called Fordandago.
After she gets there, Fiea is introduced to a totally different life.  She is in a world called Eever Kolm, and it is ruled by Evil Kingdom.  Fordandago is safe, though, and at first, the only problem is getting used to the life (luckily, her new friend, McMia, is there to show her how things work).  But then Fordandago's safety starts being threatened.  Evil Kingdom wants to destroy all of Fordandago, and for some reason they are having success.  Fiea learns of the profecy (not prophecy), which tells of a time when Evil Kingdom will seek to destroy Fordandago, and Fordandago's only chance of survival being a Fanter.  Fiea is a Fanter (someone from Earth), and now understands why everyone respects the Fanters.  Fiea has never let anyone (other than McMia) know that she is a Fanter, but now, the place she loves so much is in danger, can Fiea accept the fact that she is a Fanter, or will Fordandago fall into the hands of Evil Kingdom?

I've been working

I've been writing my story Mystery Events (It used to be 'Mystery Letters') for NaNoWriMo (a writing program).
I will probably do some sort of contest on my blog about Mystery Events once it's finished and edited.
I will try to finish my story quickly.

Eever Kolm

I have been making a world called Eever Kolm so I can write a story about a girl who wakes up in this strange world.  This is what Eever Kolm is:
Eever Kolm is a world ruled by the Evil Kingdom, so everyone — except Fordandago, you'll see why later— must be careful and listen to the Evil Kingdom.  Evil Kingdom sends out Evil Kingdom Minions, who watch Eever Kolm to see if anyone is disobeying laws.  They are VERY good at tracking anything on the ground.  Evil Kingdom Minions are short, stocky, gray creatures.  They have two horns atop their heads, deformed ears that hear everything, black eyes that show and symbolize death and two holes for a nose.  Evil Kingdom Minions have the power of putting creatures and humans in a trance of hatred.  Although the Evil Kingdom Minions are great at tracking things on the ground, anything above them is almost impossible to catch.
Not all Eever Kolm people are evil.  Eeeves are quite good.  Eeeves are tallish creatures that live in the small village of Keef.  Eeeves are the main source of nature.  Eeeves are tall with long hair (girls have hair to their feet, and boys to mid-back), and nature growing in their hair and clothes.  Eeeve eyes are full of wonder.  Eeeves get their power from water.
Kiprays are not evil, either.  Kiprays are stocky dwarf-like creatures that tend to over-populate the lands they live in.  Kiprays are skilled hunters and climbers, and have a good sense of direction.  Kiprays are also very clever.  Kiprays can find food easily, and know how to survive in any situation.  They are very good at outsmarting the opponent.  Kiprays work as a team.  Kiprays, being great climbers, live in the trees to avoid Evil Kindom Minions.
There are also small creatures called Dops.  Dops are wise, but look like toddlers.  They have blue legs and big blue feet without toes.  Dops are just like toddlers (other than being wise).  They demand attention, are very adorable and have a thing with getting into mischief.
The people of Fordandago live in peace behind a force-field called a Safety Corshe.  These people are very welcoming and cheery, and live a wonderful life of wonder and excitement.  Sometimes the people of Fordandago forget all about the Evil Kingdom!
