The Beast

In a castle in Kingdomgale, there was a prince named Layton.  He lived to serve.  One day, an old lady showed up at his door an asked for a place to say.  He immediately said yes, offering the finest parts of the house.

But at that moment, the old lady transformed into a fairy.  Her name was Evelaina.  All over the land she was dreaded.  She was more evil than anyone.  

Evelaina turned the prince into an immortal beast, and gave him a rose.  Every time a petal fell, Layton would become more like a beast, until one day, he would be completely evil.  Unless, he found true love.

Six hundred years later, in a place called Kingdom, there was a girl named Isabelle.  Isabelle was eighteen years old, and spent all of her time reading.  She was teased by her family, friends, and everyone else.

One day, a fairy named Irina visited Isabelle.  Irina told Isabelle all about the Beast, Prince Layton.  Isabelle promised the fairy to save the Prince, and headed down the forgotten path to the castle where he lived.

As Isabelle and Layton got to know each other, times got harder.  Petals kept falling, and Layton became harder to control.

Isabelle wasn't sure if she would be able to save her prince.
