Lately....
Lately I've been working REALLY hard on Horror of the Fear (which is now called The Fear-Full Adventure) and Mystery Letters. So I haven't really had time to come up with new stories. But since I have been working hard on The Fear-Full Adventure, I have put it on www.worthyofpublishing.com
Mystery Letters will go on worthy of publishing soon, also.
Oh, and I will probably add a new post to lifeofthecrazyme.blogspot.com soon.

(Title not chosen)
I ask for a title from Alana or Gavin, if they happen to see this.
OK, this week Alana, Gavin and I played a really cool story, and are all writing our perspective or it and then putting it together. I will put my part.
Charity, Jake and Elaina are good friends. Charity the one to lead them to adventure, Jake the crazy one, and Elaina the one who always seems the leader. One day, Charity mentions a blue crystal of ice. She wants to go looking for it. Jake agrees (Elaina is gone), and they find a map and go on a journey. They are immediately aware of mythical dragons that try to destroy the map, new worlds, and green turtles with blue shells. The map is stolen by a turtle, and this journey is immediately upgraded. Charity and Jake learn their "greatest powers, but greatest weaknesses", and Elaina comes and learns hers. All three of them are essential to the journey. Elaina learns that the turtle is headed for an evil green fairy who will destroy the world with the crystal, and their duty is all the more important. If one of them perishes, the world perishes. Obstacles including quicksand, dangerous holes, fire pits, clouds with minds, and angry dragons get in the way. Jake gets hurt so much, he goes crazy and wants to die. They must learn the importance of their living, but also must overcome death. Can these kids complete a journey so overwhelming?
Note for Alana or Gavin: I hope I described this well.

(Help me pick a title)
This is a two-part story.
Lizabelle and Megane are both suffering from serious bone fractures. Lizabelle is one of the best three swimmers in the United States, and Megane is one of the fastest girls in London. Both are aiming for better.
Lizabelle is eleven, and started swimming lessons when she was three. She loves to swim more than anything, and hopes to eventually become the best swimmer. She signed up for a swimming contest, and got in easily. She practiced every day for a minimum of four hours. And things were looking up. But then she jammed her left arm against the pool wall and broke her hand badly, the thing she uses most in swimming. She can no longer swim at all, and her place is going to a girl named Renaka, who has no home, and doesn't know how to work.
Megane is twelve, and would run laps around the block when she was two. She beat all the kids much older than her at the 5k, and everyone knew running came naturally to her. When the 'Sprint Race' is announced, Megane was immediately in. She started running a mile every three hours. It looked like she would make it. But then her rival, Avgin, tripped her, and she broke her ankle in three places. She can no longer run at all. She can hardly walk with crutches! And now Avgin is taking her place in the race.
Lizabelle and Megane are so far apart. Lizabelle lives in California, and Megane lives in London. Nothing can bring them together, but nothing can keep them apart. Cases so similar, they're destined to meet. Sure enough, they soon meet through a forwarded email. Will they be able to solve their sadness with new hobbies? Or will they find a way to make their talents work?

Sun City
Marrissa loves life. She loves to play in the sun, dance in the rain, and go wacko. But when her Mom gets terribly sick, and must go to a hospital in a different country, Marrissa's life changes. She is sent to a farm in a strange place without a name. Living in the strange place is different. The food tastes disgusting, the work is done to the smallest detail, and there is no time for fun.
Marrissa thinks her life has left her. She has lost the twinkle in her eye and the skip in her step. One day, she finds a secret door. Through the door is a room of absolute light. Marrissa soon learns that this is where the sun gets its power. This knowledge unlocks the door to many secrets, surprises and even threats. This place is now known as 'Sun City', and it is in great danger of losing it's sun-power. Can Marrissa save the sun-power? Can Marrissa save the sun?

The Tree Girl's Secrets
The Tree Girl's Secrets is NOT related to Tree Climber. Oh, and if you are in my class, you've heard the beginning of this story.
It starts with a fight over the weekend at the school. Corter has made Hadrick and his little sister Hadie mad, and Hadie acts as though she has a secret. Curious little tree climber Pordgie wants to see what's going on. She starts to follow them through the trees, but then someone spots her. She is all of the sudden on the run, and must keep secrets of her own. For she has learned not to trust anyone on the ground. They keep too many secrets. Lie too much.

Choices
I wrote a poem, and I happen to be proud of it, so here it is
(Oh, it's called choices):
(Oh, it's called choices):
Why do I feel blue?
Why do I feel gloom?
Where is all the happiness
I know there is somewhere?
Why do I feel lost?
Why can’t I feel love?
Where is all the happiness
I know is there somewhere?
Why do I feel scared?
Why do I feel alone?
Where is all the happiness
I know is there somewhere?
I know I shouldn’t have done it,
Now I know.
I know the tempting feeling,
has hurt my soul.
I know that if I’d listened,
I’d feel love inside.
I shouldn’t have done it,
and Now I know.
Where can I find peace?
Where can my soul rest?
How can I be forgiven for sin?
Where is the humble,
Feeling I knew?
Have hurt feelings driven me
Away?
Have the temptations, made me
Heartless?
Have my decisions made me
Broke?
Where is the love
I used to know?
I know I shouldn’t have done it,
Now I know.
I know the tempting feeling,
has hurt my soul.
I know that if I’d listened,
I’d feel love inside.
I shouldn’t have done it,
and Now I know.
Why do I feel this peace?
How do I feel such love?
What is this overwhelming
Feeling I’ve found?
I love my family!
I love my friends!
I love my home!
I love my wonderful, loving life!
I love my wonderful, loving life!
Where did I find this?
This love I’ve found?
How is happiness
Suddenly alive?
I know I’m blessed and happy,
Now I know!
I know my good choices,
have saved my soul!
I know that since I’m grateful,
I feel love inside!
I’m blessed and happy,
and Now I know!
I know I’ve found peace!
I know my soul rests!
I know I’ve been forgiven for sin!
I love the humble,
Feeling I know!
I know my love, has kept me
Safe!
I love my blessings, they’ve made me
Happy!
I know I will be loved
Forever!
I love the love,
I now know!
I know I’m blessed and happy!
Now I know!
I know my good choices,
have saved my soul!
I know that since I’m grateful,
I feel love inside!
I’m blessed and happy,
and Now I know!
Now it’s time to choose,
Choose right or wrong.
Choose happy or sad.
It’s up to you now,
‘Cause now you know.
Will you feel love and hope?
Will you feel desperate?
Will you feel grateful?
Will you feel hate?
Will you feel overwhelmed?
By peace and happiness?
Will you feel hope is lost?
By poor choices?
You know it’s time to choose,
‘Cause now you know.
Your choice to be better,
could make you happy.
Your choice of listening,
could make you sad.
It’s time to choose,
‘Cause now you know.
Will you feel peace?
Will your soul rest?
Will you be forgiven for sin?
Will you know the feeling
Of love and peace?
Will you hold or drive life
Away?
Will the temptations make you
Heartless?
Will you be happy, and loved
Forever?
Will love be forgotten?
Or will it be found?
You know it’s time to choose,
‘Cause now you know.
Your choice to be better,
could make you happy.
Your choice of listening,
could make you sad.
It’s time to choose,
‘Cause now you know.

Codes and Connections
Sorry I haven't posted!
Anyway, I have found a new interest in codes while trying to decipher the REAL mystery of PANAMA OXRIDGE (author of one of my favorite stories).
Codes and Connections is about four kids. Sarah, Myah, Sonton and Timothy. Sarah and Myah are next door neighbors, are BEST friends, and love code stuff. Sonton and Timothy are pen pals, and are obsessed with scary, horror type things (which get them in trouble). These two pairs of best friends are so far apart, yet so similar and destined to meet. But when Sarah and Myah find a really important coded message, and Sonton and Timothy get in serious trouble, it looks like these kids will not meet. But codes are important, and chances might not be as slim as they seem...........
How do you like it? I've found a new hobby! Can you guess?!

The Gavin Code
The Gavin Code is about a girl named Nagiola (Normally called Nagi) who is accused of vandalism she didn't do, and has a mom who disowns her. A hard life for a twelve year old! But she knows how to get over hard times. You see, she collects plastic spoons. On these spoons, she makes a ton of lines and throws them out the window to her next door neighbor, Ivoranana (Normally called Ivora). Ivora deciphers them and sends back another code. They call this, 'the Gavin Code'. They came up with this name from the people who know the code. Nagiola, Ivoranana, Vacey, Annara and Gavin. The initials of these kids spell Gavin. It goes from least important to most important. Gavin is actually third most important, but 'Avgin' didn't sound as cool as 'Gavin'. Annara is not super fluent in the code, so she comes second. Vacey excels at the code, but she hardly uses it. Ivoranana is not the best at speaking it, but she uses it all the time. And Nagiola invented the 'Gavin Code', so she is most important.
This is how Nagi's life goes, writing codes and sharing them with her four club friends. But as vandalism keeps being done on the school, in a code very similar to the Gavin Code, these five friends must investigate, and their only way to keep secret is the Gavin Code.

The Fate of the Chosen
'The Fate of the Chosen' is about a young girl named Candra. Candra's family has always lived in Virginia with a normal life-- until Jet (Candra's older brother) meets some bad friends and is sent to a new school. Mom and Dad are very upset with Jet, and Mini and Wendy (Candra's younger twin sisters) are scared to death. While Mom and Dad take Jet to a special detention center, Candra must watch her five younger siblings, Mini, Wendy, Corden, Benson, and Reeda.
Candra is allowed to do anything as long as it's appropriate, so she rents a movie she's never seen. It's supposedly brand new (according to the store owner), but the cover looks super old. It is called, 'The Spider on Twelve'. Candra brings it home, and while her siblings are watching it, she does her homework upstairs. Finally, she comes down at the last minute, and only sees the very end. Mini tells her she can see the rest of it tomorrow, and Candra nods. The only thing is, she already knows what happens. She doesn't know why, but she just knows. EVERYTHING that happens keeps playing vividly in her mind. She thinks it is strange, but shrugs it off her shoulders and goes on living life.
Later, though, at school, Candra runs into a girl, and she demands her to read this one book. The girl explains it, and all of the sudden, Candra knows the whole story. She knows what happens to the main character, she knows how the story ends, and all the details in the middle. Why is this happening to her?

Threat of the.... It
OK, I found a story I started, and I think I'll continue it.
Eva is a super poor orphan. She makes her clothes out of her own hair, therefore on Orphan Day, she never gets taken home. She always just lives out in the trees with the other orphans.
Jenna is an orphan. She's not too poor, but she is an orphan, so she still lives in the trees and bushes. She is very shy. She looks up to Eva, who is very nice and caring.
But when Jenna is too scared to speak to a bold orphan named Kim, things get scary. A strange thing that looks like a girl is flying in the air, chanting something that is putting all the orphans into a frozen state. And every time one of the orphans falls to the ground, the thing gets more pretty. What she chants points to the fact that Eva is the only one who can save the orphans. What is this thing doing, and why is she getting prettier? Will Eva go to save the orphans? Can she?

What's Going On?
Miranda goes to the gas station in the morning with her mom, and all the sudden her mom's asleep, and she won't wake up. Miranda tries to signal someone, but everyone is just getting their gas and driving away.
Finally, a man comes up and asks what's wrong. Miranda explains, and the man nods his head. He then tells her to get in his car and find the blue box with red liquid, and that will help her. Miranda blindly gets into the car and searches, and all of the sudden feels the car driving. Her mom is lying in the seat in the front, and the man is driving.
Confusing things are going on, and Miranda decides she will have to jump out the window to get away. She jumps, but it's all to the man's plans. She rolls down a grassy hill to a small cottage. She knocks on the door, and a beautiful women hushes her to the back of a cupboard.

Fun!
OK, I've been going ON and ON with stories, so here's some fun.
I love to be crazy and do things that make no sense at recess.
In school I love writing (of course! :P), reading, math, P.E. and recess.
I also love playing violin, piano, singing, dancing, doing backbends, back walk overs and such with my mom and sister, and doing family soccer.
I obviously love blogging.
I think scary stories are AWESOME!
I make up a lot of strange names (if you haven't noticed!).
My friends are crazy and awesome with me (recently at the recess of the Halloween Party I was a corpse bride and tried to find my lover, while my friends did other crazy things to mock their costumes).
I personally think that I am a monkey (hehe).
Thanks for reading!

The Battle Of the Wanvires and the Werewolves
Wanvires are a special type of Vampire that does not drink blood, but fights deadly. The Wanvires are sworn enemies of the Werewolves. The Necrodice are on whatever side is losing... unless one betrays the word of the Necrodice. Cherky, Merewither, Asish, Tramun and Tate (all normal Wanvire names) are a team. Cherky is the oldest taking 1000, Merewither is second taking 800, Tate and Tramun taking 700, and Asish comes last at 600. Cherky must protect her family, which she considers her babies. The next-door Werewolves are Wemitro, Nill, Vani and Torwin.
As these enemies fight, a Necrodice named Killen shows up, and since the Wanvires are losing, he is on their team. They battle and battle, exchanging injure for injure and capture for payback. Trickery is planned on the Werewolves team, taking Cherky's legs, only to be returned by Merewither, a healing Wanvire. Fight is on, as the Werewolves consider their leader, Wemitro, a traitor. Will the Wanvires win? Will the Werewolves win? Or will they become friends?

The Fear-Full Adventure
The Fear-Full Adventure
I am Merrisha Holands. I am eleven years old, and I live in Moormath Street in the city of Kerryville. I have shoulder-length blonde curls and big blue eyes. I love reading, swinging, doing the monkey bars, and crafting. I love the smell of cookies on the pan, and brownies in the oven. I am a normal sixth grader.
OK, I’m not totally normal, but no one is, right? Let’s just say I have... well..... conditions. I don’t think the way some people do. A normal person would see a spider and smash it and scrape it off on the ground. I freak out and start spraying this really stinky repellent around me. Yes, I agree, repellent stinks, but it’s better than having spiders crawling up your arms and biting you and sending you to the hospital. You’ve guessed it, I’m an arachnophobe.
I’m also a little bit strange when it comes to elevators, and other small spaces without windows. I don’t see how some people can go into a public bathroom without getting sweaty hands and passing out. How do some people not feel as though the world is closing in on them? Yes, I am also a claustrophobe.
You think two fears is enough? Well, I also get terrified in the dark. Who else brings a flashlight with them everywhere they go? Not anyone I know of. But even though I know it is very irrational to be afraid of the dark, I can’t stop myself from hyperventilating.
But besides all those irrational fears, my life is pretty normal. I have to say, not everyone has a life as lucky and easy as I do. Nothing very bad has ever happened to me. OK, fine, that’s not entirely true....
Merrisha Holands is eleven years old, and other than three irrational fears, her life is pretty normal. She has a healthy amount of friends, a good life at home, and she is smart enough that she doesn't get in trouble in school too often.
But when Merrisha learns that she isn't the only one who is afraid, and that she must go on an amazing journey to save those with fears, Merrisha must face her worst nightmares, and more fear than she thought was possible.

Tree Climber
Tree Climber is about a girl who loves climbing. Camandra reads in the trees, writes in the trees, sometimes sleeps in the trees. It is as though she is meant to climb. It is as though the tree is calling for her to come climb. She hopes nothing ever stops her from climbing. She doesn't know how she'd bear it if something did happen.
She doesn't only climb trees. She also loves the monkey bars at school, and would spend hours on them. Most people call Camandra "Tree Climber". She doesn't really mind, for she is pretty much a perfect example for one.
But as the weeks of climbing pass, Camandra wonders if it isn't just a coincidence that she loves climbing so much. Maybe she really is meant to climb. Read and find out how she learns the secrets of the trees.

Every Detail Counts
Every Detail Counts is about a 12 year old girl. Her family dies, and she is left with nothing but her dog, Kork. She feels as though her life is over.... school is now so hard. Every detail counts. Anything that happens, sticks in her brain, and she can tell it is of importance. Now that her family is gone, she starts learning her family's secrets. Every single detail, no matter how small it seems, is very important. She must learn all the secrets of her family, for now they really do matter. The secrets of their past, their present, and their future. Secrets of their names, their kids, even their house. Secrets of the school, the lockers, and more. And then comes the secret of her name. The secret of why they named her Deathrette.
I Should Have Listened
No one wakes up thinking they must save the day from evil. Therefore, no one would believe their 8 year old sister when she said the world was in desperate need of them. And so I didn't. I pushed 8 year old Rebecca out of my mind and tried to fall back asleep. Tried to ignore Rebecca's warnings.
I should have listened. Now, in the situation I'm in, I know I should have listened to Rebecca. What harm could it have done to sit up in bed and listen?
If you had a sister 3 years younger than you, and a brother 2 years older, you might not act how Amy acted, but that was still her excuse. Her 8 year old sister, Rebecca, is very frail and has nightmares that she is convinced will really happen. Her 13 year old brother, Gordan, is very bold and gets mad at Amy when she doesn't listen to Rebecca. Amy has one friend: Rannashey. No one else talks to her. Not since she tripped and spilled her chocolate milk all over Mrs. Morgan. So Amy is very careful what she does. She can't make Rannashey stop talking to her. That's why she doesn't even pretend to listen to Rebecca, that's why on the playground she swings and swings and never does the monkey bars, even though she wants to.
But maybe she should listen to Rebecca. Maybe Rebecca isn't making up all this nonsense.

The Curse of Mickerson
Jenna Mickerson has always felt strange. She can't skip, literally, she can't sing, her voice is almost unbearable. And she can't jump. She can never leave the ground completely. Janna hates it. One day, after school, Jenna sees a strange boy spying on her. Over the next few days, she sees him constantly, and she is almost positive he is not just an annoying boy. Jenna learns that she can't jump, skip, etc. because of a curse, and she must break it.
Are you awake?
Are You Awake? takes place in an unknown country called Malcaevar. People in Malcaevar have lived in happiness for thousands of years, but when the little girl, Minky, is born, this all changes. Crazy things start happening, and Minky is sure it has to do with her. One night, when everyone else is asleep, she tiptoes upstairs and opens the window. The wind on her face feels perfect, and Minky can't help but jump out the window and try to fly away. And when she does, she falls graciously to her feet. Minky immediately knows what is wrong. She goes from door to door asking the same question, "Are you awake?" When she gets to the last door, the door opens and she finds a black man, "Are you awake?" she asks, and he says, "No."
What has Minky discovered? Why should she ask those questions? And that man in black..... Who is he?

The Committee's Threat
The Committee's Threat is about Sydney (15) and Courtney (14). Mainly Sydney. Sydney and Courtney visit a strange town to help fix up a house. A big council will levy them a fine if they don't get it fixed up, and the committee is demanding the house repaired in a month. Sydney has grown up working hard, and finds this easy. She cleans, repaints, and sets up all the rooms, stairs and halls. Except for a small room that Courtney is supposed to clean. But Courtney isn't hard working. She whines and complain when she's given the slightest work. She cries hysterically when she is forced to scrub the floor. She dumps out buckets of water on the floor and claims she's scrubbed so much her hands are blistered. Sydney hates this. She's tired of Courtney's complaining. So one day, she shoves Courtney a bit, and forces her to start cleaning properly. As Sydney walks out of the room to talk to a council member. When she asks how to get Courtney to work, the council member turns serious. He looks at her and gruffly says, "Tell her the truth: something foreboding with happen if she doesn't."

Kora's Kidnap
Kora's Kidnap is about a girl named Ekella. Ekella believes that no one should be forced to do anything. The funny thing about that is that Ekella is a Powerholder. Powerholders are special people who can force anyone to do anything. For example, Mike Stevorson was the most famous Powerholder in history. He was known for forcing a thanatophobe to go 2 days without any food, water or safety. Ekella, however, has never forced anyone to do anything.
One day, a girl named Kora knocks on Ekella's door, and Ekella immediately grabs her and pulls her up to her room and forces her to sit still while she ties her up. Ekella doesn't know what came over her, but now she can't stop forcing Kora to do stuff. Then things start getting bad. Who knew what had overcome her? Now she must fight against herself and free Kora before she does real harm to Kora.

The Forgotten
The Forgotten is about a girl named Fira and a boy named Morcal. Fira sees things, visions, warnings, and she can tell something bad will happen soon. Morcal can hear those lost (in other words, ghosts), and has a hard time understanding realistic things. These two kids meet, and their lives are immediately filled with pure action and evil. Those forgotten are lost forever, those remembered must stay remembered, those to remember must remember. People are disappearing on the spot, once they are forgotten. Morcal and Fira are determined to stay together, but when things get really bad, Morcal has to go out and try to "find" the lost, and Fira must try to put a stop to this evil in her town. So, they must part. When they part, Fira grabs Morcal by the shoulders and says, "You have to remember me." Morcal says, "Yes, I know, but you must remember..."
"I will remember you. I can't forget. Not even if I wanted to. But you must remember. You MUST."

A Quest for Haddic
Sady (10) and Louran (12) are partners. Sady has no family, but Louran has a grandpa, a 7 year old sister named Olivia, and a 3 year old brother named Haddic. Their land, Sorger, is under attack, and every person 9 and older must fight.
When Sady and Louran get lost and are trying to get back to Louran's grandpa's house, Louran has no choice but to give Haddic to a hooded caretaker and stranger. Louran just hopes Haddic will never see war.
When they are fighting, Sady and Louran choose to fight on top of a hill, where they have an advantage. Sady shoots with a gun that shoots a round ball straight to the enemies eye, and Louran guards Olivia. Well, they are keeping the enemy on their toes, when Sady and Louran come to new enemies to fight. One looks strangely
like the Queen's jester. The other is plump dressed up in armor (like an apple with barbie clothes on). As Sady and Louran fight these enemies, the jester-like guy keeps trying to tell Louran something, but she won't listen.
Finally, after Sady shoots the plump guy's eye and he has to go to recover, the jester-like guy brings up a conversation while dodging Sady's gun balls. He asks about Louran's life, and says that he is the queen's
husband and jester. Sady immediately stops shooting him to listen closer. The queen's husband says that they have two kids, one is adoptive. Louran's nods and says she knows that their real baby is Paraly, but she wonders
who the adoptive is.
The jester looks serious, "That's what I've been trying to tell you. It's Haddic." he says.
Sady and Louran are immediately on a quest to get Haddic back. Will they?
Sandra and the Frog Men
'Sandra........ Sandra.........' I could hear the drawling of the creatures behind me. But I couldn't let them get me. I had gotten too far to give up. Too far to give in to the voices in my head. I had to save the Frog Men. I didn't care how much the snakes hated and despised the Frog Men, the Frog Men had done me good. Saved my life. Showed me that I was special. I couldn't let the snakes attack them, take all they had, when I hadn't even thanked them.
Sandra feels like nothing. Like she's a waste of space. She's never liked her life, and wishes she didn't exist. But when Sandra meets the Frog Men (frog-like people), she finally learns that she is special. She's actually VERY special and important. The Frog Men needed her. No one knew why, but they needed her. Sandra finally finds herself of importance.
But then there was the snakes. The snakes were evil and full of persuasion. When the snakes meet Sandra, they try to kill her. But the Frog Men save her. Sandra immediately feels as though she owes the Frog Men, and can't help but shed a few tears when it's time for them to go. But they won't be gone from her for long. Sandra learns that the snakes are out to attack the Frog Men, and Sandra must go on an amazing adventure to warn and save the Frog Men.

Katrina
Katrina is about me, an 11 year old named Cereal. Yes, my name is Cereal. You know, like the stuff you eat? Well, yeah. My parents couldn't think of a name and let my six-year old older brother name me. And he named me Cereal. Well, I can't say I don't love being referred to as Cereal-Eating-Cereal (my brother gave me this name, also), but I still think my parents could have come up with a name like Mac (OK, not Mac, that's my brother), or Sam, or Tom. But no, I'm Cereal.
Well I grew up in a city called Marversville, where all the houses are tiny and blue and hardly big enough for two tiny bedrooms, one tiny bathroom, and a tiny kitchen. I share Mac's room, my parents share a room, and then there's the bathroom and kitchen.
Even though our house makes me feel claustrophobic, I love Marversville. I love playing in the parking lot of the grocery store, or playing cards with Mac while our parents talk inside. But what I love most....... well......... Katrina. She's beautiful, funny, and happy.
But not everyone stays beautiful, funny, and happy forever.......
OK, romance/scary. Probably one of the few I'll write.

A Short Biography
OK, I am going to give a short biography of myself just for the fun of it.
I grew up in Utah, and loved drawing and playing games. At the end of first grade, I read Mr. Popper's Penguins and I have loved reading ever since. In second grade I decided I wanted to become a famous author, because when you WRITE a story, people READ it, and I loved reading. So, I pretty much only wanted to write because I liked reading.
At the end of second grade, I moved.
In third grade, I learned that I really liked writing, and could right well, and writing became easier and more fun for me. I wrote a lot of stories about girls moving to a new school, and everyone was amazed at my writing. Writing definitely wasn't my favorite, though. I prefered reading over almost anything. I read so many books, there were a lot of books I didn't finish. I also read Harry Potter.
In fourth grade, I loved writing SO much. I wrote, read (I still chose reading over writing) wrote, read, and played crazy games at recess. My teacher noticed I liked writing, and pretty soon I was in an amazing writing program. I came up with Kate's Quest, Kate came to life. I also had an amazing student teacher who did an awesome job of teaching.
Oh, and in the end of fourth grade I broke my right leg :(.
Fifth grade so far is awesome. I love writing SO much, I actually now prefer writing over reading. I have a writing mentor, several friends who love writing, and I can't wait to go to the writing program again!
Thanks for reading!

So I'm Ms. Cow
So I'm Ms. Cow is about a girl named Jillina, who has a poor family. Jilina's family got stolen from when she was 3, and she and her 3 brothers and parents have struggled to survive. But when a new author named Gertrude Maridtithirith publishes a book called The Life of Ms. Cow, this changes. Movie auditions start almost immediately, and it's free to be in the movie. Jilina is sent to auditions immediately, for if the movie is a success, anyone who was part of it gets $5,000. Jilina honestly doesn't want to be in a movie, but she keeps telling herself, "It's for the family, it's for the family."
The auditions turn out well, and Jilina is starring Ms. Cow. She has to dress up as a cow that walks on hind legs, splatter herself with mud, and eat coconut-flavored hay. She HATES it. But now she's stuck, dirty and annoyed, as a cow in a movie.

Forgive Me...... I Died
Kemanora loves her family with all her heart. She holds onto them dearly and can't let them go. Can't imagine life without them. Would die for her family's safety. But on her birthday, Kemanora's family leaves for the store before Kemanora wakes up. They never come back. No one knows what happened to them. One second they were in the car.... the next second they were gone. Gone forever.
Kemanora is left broken, shattered. Kemanora is like a ghost. She can't think, everything is dizzying. It's like she's under a spell, now that her family is gone. It's like she herself is gone. She just walks around with her eyes glazed and thinks and wonders.
Now, Kemanora had friends, many. Cristeen Wiler, Cristine Winter, Summer Somer, Summer Lancing, Candace Rigged, Broclyn Joyson, Mary Kiley, and many more. And when Kemanora stops attending school, these friends get scared and worried. Every day they get more worried, and more worried, and more worried. Finally, they go to check on her, and find the ghost-like girl she has turned into. Her once beautiful brown curls are now straight and tangled, faded to a paler color. Her once healthy, strong, tannish skin is now almost white and soft. Her eyes are no longer blue, they have changed to a hypnotized-like grey. She's super skinny and trips over her own feet.
Cristeen, Cristine, Summer S, Summer L, Candace, Broclyn and Mary are horrified by what their once healthy, strong friend has turned into. They decide to run away to find Kemanora's family, for a question keeps playing in their minds..... Are they really dead?

Possessed
I walked slowly, just following Kop's directions. What else was I supposed to do?
"Stop!" "Neya!" "Stop!" I heard people screaming. But what did they mean? Their cries went through my head, and they never rung a bell. Who cared, though. All that mattered was Kop's kind voice in my head.
"NEYA! You're going to get yourself KILLED!" Someone called. But I continued to walk. I couldn't let those meaningless calls get in my way....
Neya has always trusted Kop. Kop was her only friend when she was younger, but when she did start getting friends, Kop was always her best friend. She would listen to anything he would say, even allow herself to die for him. But is Kop really her friend? Can she really trust him when he says, "Neya, everything will be alright. Nothing will go wrong this time." ?

Red Marker
Red Marker is probably the only scary story I'll ever write, but I like the sound of this one.
It starts when Benson's sister Kiyay gets a marker set in the mail. She's so excited, until she finds out the red marker doesn't work. Benson loves his sister, and promises to buy her a new red marker, but before he has a chance, something bad happens.
Benson is getting dressed, when he hears Kiyay screams, he runs downstairs, and finds her, sprawled across the ground, blood coming out of her side, with the red marker without it's cap on the ground beside her. That night, Benson is going to bed, knowing his sister is in the hospital, when something on the mirror catches his eye. He goes to get a closer look, and in red marker is the message 'You have been warned!' And that's when things get REALLY scary.

Sannalay is about a girl named Sannalay. Sannalay's parents died when she was born; her first adoptive parents abandoned her; her second adoptive parents abandoned her; her third adoptive parents died from a car accident, and she is now living by herself. You would think she would be a scared, nervous person who didn't trust anyone, but Sannalay is a happy little girl who loves everyone and isn't afraid of strangers. But this isn't of any matter, because if any stranger was planning to kidnap her or harm her, wouldn't be able to after two minutes of talking to her.
But no one's life stays perfect forever, and when times get rough, Sannalay must learn how to stay happy, and she knows good friends can help her.

A Light in the Dark
I'm sorry, I forgot to add this on my ideas for books.
A Light in the Dark is about a place that has been ruled by Queen Canora for 50 years. But no one likes her. She is violent and cruel. One day, the guards mention that they think it's time for a new queen, and Canora gets angry. She says she will rule until she dies. The guards reply that she might as well die, then. At that, Canora gets really angry, and takes the guards' mistake out on the people; starving them, hurting them, taxing them more than they can handle. The city guards go looking for someone who can save the country, and finally, they find a girl named Alanisa. Alanisa is an 11 year old who has grown up in a world of fairy tales. She is convinced that the 'good guys' always win. Although it will be rough, forcing Alanisa into real life, Alanisa is the only one who has hope; therefore, she is there only hope.

Ideas for books
I have several ideas for books, here are a list of books I will write some day.
1. Paranie and the Wizards' Scheme
This book is about an elf named Paranie, who has never told any human that she is an elf, and must keep it secret... but then, Paranie notices that wizards have reformed and plan to destroy all elves; starting with revealing the elves' secret. Paranie must keep the elves a secret, but also get help....... from a human. Paranie must turn to the only human she really trusts, Patne.
2. The Deserted Land
Gemya lives in OmforI [om-FUR-eye], an old land under strict order. When Gemya is sent on a tour of OmforI, she is picked to survive in a deserted land for a year with only the totally deserted wild, and a brand new jacket for protection.
3. The Replicator
Charity Forever and Megane Deatn are at acting class. When it is over, they go looking for Charity's younger sister, Mary Beth. When they ask a girl named Ovia if she knows where Mary Beth is, Ovia says 'No' in a suspicious way. When they find Mary Beth, all suspicions are forgotten... until Mary Beth starts acting strange.
4. Marigold Sounds
When Kenay is invited to a celebrity's birthday party at Thander City, she figures out a way to get her mom to let her go. She is SO excited, and can't wait to go have the time of her life, when she happens to hear a conversation between her mom and her dad. Now she knows why her parents have never wanted her to go to Thander City, but there is no way to call it off now, and Kenay's in for a LOT of trouble!

Sister of Swords and Shields
Sister of Swords and Shields is about a girl named Brietta. Brietta has 14 older brothers, and is thereby a tomboy. Her mom wishes her a girly-girl, but Brietta thinks of girls as weirdos who do crazy things and where uncomfortable clothes. One day a letter comes in the mail. It's an invitation to a fighting tournament. After an argument with her mom, Brietta wins, and is sent to the tournament (along with her 14 brothers).
Brietta is so excited, until she reads the list of who she is going to fight. The first four don't upset her, but the last one is her brother, and the match isn't over until one person can't continue. Can Brietta come up with a scheme?

Author Quiz
Do you want to know more about the author you're reading about? Here are a few things that you might think are interesting to know:
1. When did you decide you wanted to become an author?
When I was in 2nd grade. I liked reading so much, that I thought it would be nice to be an author. I got more into writing in 3rd and 4th grade.
2. What was the first thing you wanted to be?
An artist. I loved to draw pictures of girls in dresses. But even then I still loved making up little stories and having Mom write them down for me.
3. What do you enjoy doing other than writing?
I like reading, playing my piano and violin, playing with my friends, blogging, drawing, and going on worthy of publishing.
4. What character is most like you?
I have to say, Kate is. I made Kate look like me when I had long hair, except her's was really wavy. Then when I cut my hair, I made some reason for Kate to cut her hair in the book. :)
5. Who do you think has helped you most on the way to becoming an author?
My Mom and my Dad. They are always willing to listen to how my writing is going. Mom showed me worthy of publishing, which I love, and Dad told me to make a blog. Mom and Dad helped me edit Kate's Quest, and Dad.... he told me to work hard on writing, editing, reading and blogging, that way if I didn't become a published author by the time I turned 11, I would at least be closer. He told me to try and find writing camps, so that I could become especially good at writing. They make it so much easier to write!
Well, there's some things about me! I hope you liked it!

Writing tips
Here are some of my tips for writing:
-Make sure your story does not go to slow, for people might get bored and stop reading.
-Have friends, family members etc. read your book and see if they like it and understand it. Remember, you are writing your book for the audience, not for you (Thank you for teaching me that, Dad!).
-If your goal is to have a book 100 pages or higher, read 200 page or so chapter books, and try to see how the author makes it that long without making it get boring (Thank you Devin!).
-Think, what kind of books do you like, and what kinds of books do you not like?
And last but not least:
-You have a good book in your hands, don't throw it away!

The Secrets of Drak
The fourth in my Kate's Quest series is The Secrets of Drak.
In The Secrets of Drak, Jode's brother Sam has turned good, and is trying to explain what is happening to Annaliar, for he is getting bigger and stronger quickly. Sam doesn't know how to explain it completely, so Jode and Sam travel to Drak to find out what is happening to Annaliar, and how to stop him, if they can. It is a risk of life, and if Jode hadn't gotten her bravery, she wouldn't have had the guts to do it.

School Magic
School Magic is NOT part of my Kate's Quest series. School Magic is something I am working on separate.
Olivia has two very best friends named Emma and Brinley. They wake up every day at 5:30 so that they can play together on the playground before school. Olivia is very happy with her routine, and doesn't plan on changing it anytime soon.
One morning, Olivia wakes up at 10:00, and runs to school and learns her friends woke up at 10:00 too. This catches all three of them off guard. At first they decide that they were just tired, but then the next day they wake up at ten, again, and to top that, they hear that their least favorite two boys, Brandon and Dilan, who always wake up late, are waking up at 4:00 in the morning.
Olivia, Emma and Brinley try to figure out what's going on by themselves. But when weird turns worse, and the school breaks out in poisonous purple sparks every time Olivia, Emma, Brinley, Brandon or Dilan gets frustrated, these best friends must have help from Brandon and Dilan, who have a plan to save the school.

Other Authors
OK, you've read about my books, and about how I want to become an author, but I have other friends who do too. My friend Aastha Bansal, and my friend Megan Bean both love writing too and want to become authors.
Aastha has written a very good book called Jessie the Wizard, and is writing a series called The Girls, and even though she hasn't finished The Girls, so I haven't read it, I know that book will be good.
Aastha also has a blog, aasthathewriter.blogspot.com

Megan, has written The Castle of Palia, Homeless, and several other books. I know a lot about Megan's books, because she gets most of her ideas from games we play, and she turns our games into stories.
Megan and Aastha are both wonderful authors!

Kate's Quest passage
Here's a passage from Kate's Quest, later I'll add a video of the passage, but right now my siblings aren't ready. :) :
Kate winced at what he had said, "Um... Why haven't I met you?" she asked
Kate winced at what he had said, "Um... Why haven't I met you?" she asked
Annaliar frowned, “Why do you ask? I moved here yesterday.” he replied, looking more angry.
“OK, I will hold onto that, but why are you walking around like you don’t want to be seen?” Kate pushed, she was desperate for answers.
“Because I have to move to Earth to keep my job going, and my friend Zuxwoy doesn’t want me to go.” Annaliar lied. Kate could see his face pushing for her to believe.
“If you moved here yesterday, Zuxwoy wouldn’t be such good friends with you that he wouldn’t want you to leave! Plus, you wouldn’t get a promotion in your job in one day!” Kate pointed out, no one could lie to Kate, she had a way of looking people in the eyes, or listening to how they spoke. Annaliar was lying. His eyes were really wide.
Annaliar’s eyes turned fierce, “You! You! You will never, ever see me act nice again!” he turned to run, but Kate grabbed him.
Annaliar’s eyes turned fierce, “You! You! You will never, ever see me act nice again!” he turned to run, but Kate grabbed him.
“What do you mean I’ll never see you act nice again? What is wrong with being nice? And how in the world do you expect to get to Earth? How did you get here? There aren’t many flying skateboards.” She asked, still trying to figure out who this man was.
Annaliar looked like he was going to explode with anger, “What is it with you and questions? Don’t you know I would rather not tell you about how I got a magical wrist band that allows me to fly!? I don’t want to take my time to tell some little midget how some weird dude dropped it. And, I don’t need a little threat to try to stop me from getting revenge on that horrible Stete Krown!” he yelled with anger, looking more angrily at Kate. Then, for the first time he seemed to notice something, how she looked. It seemed to catch him off guard. He gulped with fear, and sped off toward Kate’s house.
Kate tried to think. Who was Stete? And why did he share her last name? Who dropped this wrist band that allows you to fly? Why did Annaliar all the sudden look scared of Kate? How was Kate a threat?

Jode's Quest for Bravery
I am currently working on a story called Jode's Quest for Bravery. In Jode's Quest for Bravery, Kate is hurt from her last battle, so her best friend Jode is in the spotlight. From the other books you learn that Jode is scared of almost everything, and she's very, very rich. So, in the third book, Jode is very scared and has nightmares every night, and can't help but be afraid of so many things. Jode soon discovers that her greatest fear is of being afraid, and because of this she does so many things to make her brave, but all they do is get her in trouble. In the middle of this, she and Kate (still in the hospital) spot Annaliar and Sam (Annaliar's helper) looking for Stete on Time Town. Jode has to go on a quest that will make her brave and distract Annaliar and Sam, knowing that every step she takes will be tracked by Annaliar and Sam.
Kate Finds Out
In my second book, Kate Finds Out, Kate can't stop thinking about Stete, the man who sent Annaliar to Drak. Kate thinks and wonders about him all the time, but can't figure out any answers. Then, she starts getting messages in the weirdest places from her dad, asking for help. And to add something on top, there is a new girl who is always trying to be nice, but always ends up with people in trouble and hurt. When Kate finally goes to save her Dad on Earth, all her questions are answered, but a new question is formed in her head during her battles with Annaliar.

Kate's Quest
Kate is a brave and poor girl that has never left her home country, Time Town. She knows all of the people on her country by name, and is very good friends with MOST of them, too. She has always felt cheery and happy, seeing that she isn't scared of hardly anything.
Annaliar, on a far and punishment place called Drak, is an evil man who killed his family at the age of 6. He has never been able to escape Drak, and wants to get horrible revenge on Stete, the person who sent Annaliar to Drak. He has gotten to Time Town, a stopping place on the way to Earth, and is feeling good about himself.
When Kate and her friend meet Annaliar, both of these opposites' lives change. Annaliar traps Kandace on Drak, a place where she will die, leaving Kate to either save her sister, and by the time she gets there Annaliar will already be on Earth, getting revenge on Stete, or save Stete, and by the time she gets to Kandace, Kandace will be dead.

Hi, I'm Charly, and I am a writer. I plan on being a published author by February 10, 2013. So, in order to meet my goal, I work on my story, Jode's Quest for Bravery (third in a series of seven). So I am working on my story every day, that's enough, right? It probably could be enough, but my dad and I decided that I should make a blog, so that people knew my books were great, and so that way I would have a better chance of getting my books published. So, look through my blog and find fun videos of passages from one of my books, paragraphs about how my writing is going, and other cool stuff. Enjoy!
