Sun City

Marrissa loves life.  She loves to play in the sun, dance in the rain, and go wacko.  But when her Mom gets terribly sick, and must go to a hospital in a different country, Marrissa's life changes.  She is sent to a farm in a strange place without a name.  Living in the strange place is different.  The food tastes disgusting, the work is done to the smallest detail, and there is no time for fun.
Marrissa thinks her life has left her.  She has lost the twinkle in her eye and the skip in her step.  One day, she finds a secret door.  Through the door is a room of absolute light.  Marrissa soon learns that this is where the sun gets its power.  This knowledge unlocks the door to many secrets, surprises and even threats.   This place is now known as 'Sun City', and it is in great danger of losing it's sun-power.  Can Marrissa save the sun-power?  Can Marrissa save the sun?
