Author Quiz

Do you want to know more about the author you're reading about?  Here are a few things that you might think are interesting to know:

1. When did you decide you wanted to become an author?
When I was in 2nd grade.  I liked reading so much, that I thought it would be nice to be an author.  I got more into writing in 3rd and 4th grade.

2. What was the first thing you wanted to be?
An artist.  I loved to draw pictures of girls in dresses.  But even then I still loved making up little stories and having Mom write them down for me.

3. What do you enjoy doing other than writing?
I like reading, playing my piano and violin, playing with my friends, blogging, drawing, and going on worthy of publishing.

4. What character is most like you?
I have to say, Kate is.  I made Kate look like me when I had long hair, except her's was really wavy.  Then when I cut my hair, I made some reason for Kate to cut her hair in the book. :)

5. Who do you think has helped you most on the way to becoming an author?
My Mom and my Dad.  They are always willing to listen to how my writing is going.  Mom showed me worthy of publishing, which I love, and Dad told me to make a blog.  Mom and Dad helped me edit Kate's Quest, and Dad.... he told me to work hard on writing, editing, reading and blogging, that way if I didn't become a published author by the time I turned 11, I would at least be closer.  He told me to try and find writing camps, so that I could become especially good at writing.  They make it so much easier to write!

Well, there's some things about me!  I hope you liked it!

  1. You and me are so alike! I decided to be an author in third grade, you decided in second. I also wanted to be an artist before I wanted to be an author. AND I wrote short stories when I was little and taped or stapled the papers together. (I just didn't have my mom write them down.):D
